All facets combined, “Neo - Jazz†is the final product!Now, with many years of experience, this talented vocalist began in the music industry as a back-up singer for local and regional artists in the Midwest. As a result of her hard work and persistence, DeeDee Alexander has toured with legendary artists, becoming a preferred opening act.Ms. Alexander is currently touring as lead singer for Tom Browne of "Funkin for Jamaica" fame.Having performed with Jean Carne, Billy Paul, Michael Henderson, Phil Perry, Jessee Powell, Norman Conners, Ronnie Laws, Angela Bofil, Ray Parker, Jr., Marion Meadows, and many others, in addition to opening for Bobby “Blue†Bland, Rolls Royce, Les Brown, Roy Ayers Michael Ward, Ronnie Laws, Al Jarreau, Lou Rawls, Boney James Frankie Beverly and Maze, & Pieces of a Dream, DeeDee Alexander is a veteran vocalist with a track record and industry name recognition that speaks for itself.Alexander is also currently working on her first solo project, entitled "Finally," with an anticipated release date of Spring '09.
