I'd like to meet:
Anyone really. Well, anyone who has a greater IQ than their shoesize and has something to contribute to life. That said, you can learn from everyone - even some piss-stained psychotic knife-murderer. You can learn how to run really fast. So bring it on, I'm willing to learn...
Actually, I don't want to meet anyone. I'm a terrible misanthrope and I hate everyone. Apart from J. x
Music:
Far too much to mention, but I'm particularly bored so let's see... Stone Roses, Pulp, Television, Magazine, Suede, Richard Hell, Elliot Smith, Corporation: Blend, Cooper Temple Clause, Radiohead, Echo & the Bunnymen, Smiths, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Blur, Sparks, Nina Simone, Dusty Springfield, Belle & Sebastian, David Bowie, Grandaddy, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Polyphonic Spree, Mercury Rev, Calexico, Chemical Brothers, Death in Vegas, Teenage Fanclub, Clash, Joni Mitchell, Supergrass, Spiritualized, Patti Smith, Moldy Peaches, Beck, Dean Martin, Lou Reed, Beta Band, Outkast, Jeff Buckley, Nick Drake, Beach Boys, Public Enemy, Super Fury Animals, Television Personalities, Guns n Roses, Depeche Mode, Ryan Adams, Beastie Boys, Sex Pistols, Air, Muse ... la dee da ... is this getting boring yet?
Movies:
Oh shit, this makes for the dullest reading ever, still, to amuse myself .... one flew over the cuckoos nest, life is beautiful, il postino, cinema paradiso, a clockwork orange, pi, the godfather trilogy, scarface, a bout de souffle, le mepris, taxi driver, brazil, fight club, wicker man, eraserhead, repo man, au revoir les enfants, man bites dog, amelie, metropolis, 2001, planet of the apes, filth and the fury, barton fink, apocolypse now (not the redux version) ... and loads of others
Television:
It's full of crap, so I don't watch much. And because I don't watch much, I miss what few good programmes there are. But in general I'll make a point to watch the good comedies - sitcoms and comedy.
Books:
Way too many and I've got the memory of a goldfish with ADHD, so I can never remember, but anything from Sophocles to Don DeLillo.
Heroes:
I used to think I didn't have any, but I've grown up since then. Now I'd say: my dad, my brother and bill hicks would be a good start.
