About Me

Just some cool stuff !!!
So what is a man ? Rather, what makes a real man? Growing up ive heard all sorts of answers, tough, doesnt cry, knows how to treat a lady etc... Ok, but in a Godly perspective, what makes a real man? Simply put, God is what makes a man. A real man, is a God fearing man. As Proverbs states that the key to wisdom is the fear of the Lord. The key to being a REAL man is also the fear of the Lord. Ask yourself this simple question... What makes me a man ? And Pray that God will show you, Pray daily, as persistance shows God that you really want to know.
Something to think about... pornography, yes its a touchy subject. But let the Truth be considered. Married, committed in a relationship or single, it deadens the heart. Ever wonder why it appears that you cant experience the joy of watching a child laugh, or experience the heart warming love of a newborn being born? Or "to men" when you look at a lady all you see is curves and sexuall turn ons ? Fantasy through pronography allows a man to feel like a man when he doesnt have to be one. Fantasy is deadly.
Something to consider.... There is a big difference between depth and being shallow. Samething applies with the differences of walking with Christ and being fleshly.
With everything God has entitled us on this earth, is the same as being an Independent Contractor. In order to learn a business you must first learn the business. Then to be independent, is like policing yourself. God has gave us so many things to learn to use, time... one of the most valuable things, needs to be learned wisely, assets, materials, costs etc.. the same. Just like a business, no work, poor management skills and so forth will only bring you debt. So, in order to follow Christ, you have to grow in Christ.
We all know what parasites are. But have you considered what all acts like a parasite ? When you follow Christ, what all jumps in your way to try and stop you ? This is a parasite, anything that steps in your way to suck you away from God and Christ. "So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall! No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to us all. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear." 1 Corinthians 10:1–13.
When you accept what God has to offer you, is obediance. Through obediance will He reward you. Ya see, for me, I faced another type of addiction. And through accepting a new sponsor God opened a door for me, so that once I walked through, there I found things that still amaze me today. Through that obediance, God has rewarded me with a date from a nice lady, a newer used car, a new job AND someone that sought me out, in order to sponsor them. Folks, Pray, Pray and see what God wants you to be obedient about.
In my past, I have ran from hurts and habbits into sheer isolation. Little did I know, I was only allowing my brain to intensify the effect of the hurt or habbit, so that when I re-encounterd a like situation, it was twice as bad. Something I learned is that you always face it, once you face it embrace it, once its been embraced replace it with something good i.e. Scripture, then make the connection.
They say that the longest trip for a man is 18 inches. Which is the distance from the top of his brain to the bottom of his heart. Ever wonder why it takes so long for things to soak in ? Take recovery for example, the more clutter a man has in his life, the longer it takes for things to soak in. So, as recovery is meant to be a tool to clean out that clutter, God is there to show you the way.
How can you love someone if you dont know what love is ? How can you give love if you dont understand what love means ? Romans 5:8 says " But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. " That has got to be the ultimate sacrifice that anyone can make. And to understand what loving someone else means, you must first look at Christ as He was sent here for us by our Father as a guide to Heaven. Only through Christ can we see God. Only through this example of God giving His only Son to you and me, can we understand what love is.
Escaping, or simply comming out of a bondage isnt easy. Keep this in mind... To be free, you have to convince yourself to be free, and once you are free, you must convince yourself that you are free. Dumping old thoughts and habbits of bein bondaged is hard business. But sometimes, the only thing to do, is simply start. Like Nehemiah and the brick wall.
Attraction... have you ever been attracted to someone or something and really didnt know why ? Yet looking back through a history of relationships, what you might be attracted to usually ended up in a heated-hated companionship ? As you associate things to memories, or associate emotions to people or objects can bring harm. Pray, ask God to guide you to what needs to be done and seen.
Racism and prejudicy.... As God creates whats Good, the enemy steps in to twist whats Good into bad. Take the word gay, we took that word and twisted it into meaning homosexual, yet the original root meaning means happy "look it up for yourself". Now take the color pink, if you see a man wearring that color hows that make you feel ? Think ? Talk ? I know with me I used to look at "feminin colors" as just that, and if I was to see a man wearring such a color I would think what is wrong with this dude. Today, I own a set of hot fuscia pink Anderson Bean boots, and I love em to death. People look me like I once looked at others. And it strikes me funny, because a color is just a color, a word is just a word, God is our Awesome Creator, and its us who twists things with faulty intension. Keep Christ centered folks !
Sometimes situations call for you to run while the enemy steps in and lures you to stay, yet when you are to stay in that situation the enemy will lure you to run. Pray for Discernment in all you do.
When you help people it can hurt. But what gets me is the difference between close ones and people who persecute you. For me, those who have perscuted me, only fed the fire to keep goin. While people that I am or was close with penetrated me on such a deep level that it was a fueled depression that didnt want to go away. One thing that is hard to realize and keep in mind is that Christ was there first. As He had stated "you will be persecuted, hurt etc.. all because of me". God is with us no matter what guys. So keep firm to Him and you will be just fine.
Strength, usually when we think of strength we look at a strongman, or a body builder and so forth. But what about power? Take the olympics, when someone does a cleanlift, its a burst of strength enabling that person to lift up to theyre chin then over theyre head. Ok, so what about a bad situation in life? It takes strength to make it through it, and sometimes it takes power to get through it. Eiher way, we cant do it on our own. Look at Samson in the Bible, the only way he could do those feats was when he was filled with The Holy Spirit. Next time you are down, and feel that you can't continue, give it to Christ. Afterall, Christ was the one who died for our sin's. HE is the one who can carry the world on His back.
Have you ever been to jail? Or even visited someone in jail? If you answered no, then stop and imagon yourself trapped in a cage, only bein fed when others say its time, only bein able to go outside when others say its time. Now stop and look at sin. Sin is an entrapment, a bondage which will stop you from doing what God wants you to do. When you are in the flesh, its prison time. But when you are in the Spirit you are free, you can soar like an eagle.
When you forgive people how does that make you feel? Well for me, it makes me feel great, but to take that forgiveness and to forgive yourself is beyond words, when forgiving someone else seems like a ton removed from your heart, forgiving yourself is just like the calm at the end of a storm, peaceful, relaxing and whole hearted. Have you forgave yourself lately? Ask God to show you what it is that you need to forgive yourself and others for.
Through life we all learn many things, paths to take, dirrections to follow, morals/ethics/codes and so forth to dictate or apply. But without a sure foundation, how can one expect to succeed?
There comes a time when you go through recovery that you start to come alive, feel more alive and feel like you need to do this, maybe that, oh oh what about this ? The key thing you must keep in mind is that you hold dear to God. And let Him show you what you need to do, otherwise with YOU behind the wheel is like The Dukes Of Hazard all over again.
Brothers.... have you ever had a desire to just explore the land that God said is good ? Maybe had a hidden desire that popped up out of no where to rescue the damsel in distress, what about a memory of being a young man pretending to be that cowboy chasing down the indians, even as a knight in armor ? What if I was to tell you that deep in every mans heart are desires to be free, desires that call out to go huntin, fishin, to be adventurous, to fight for that ladies heart, to fight off sin like William Wallace fought off the English. Chivalry, valor, true love, honor are all depicted as fairy tale things. But, reading back through the Old Testament, God is a warrior, and in the New Testament, God's son who is the passionate side of God came to earth. So, what would make true love, valor, chivalry and honor a fairy tale ? Seeing that men are created in the likeness of God we too are passionate, we too are warriors. My statement to you is simply this... find that way, and release your true self in God's eyes.
There comes a time where God calls you out to sea, do you have what it takes ? Its darring, its a mission, its a journey. You will find what your made of as well how you can help others. Pray for a mission today.
Always pray for one another, everyone you see, never know who needs it.
What if you where taken to court for being a Christian, would you have enough evidence of being a Christian to be convicted ?
Question to ask yourself "How can I reveal that Jesus lives in me?"
Question to think on....... " to us certain 4 letter words are cuss words... but what if you where to take a simple phrase like shoot diggity bein spoke to express a bad intention... would that make that a cuss word/phrase ? "
If you would like prayer, support or just a good friend then please dont hesitate to messege me.
Favorite Scripture's
He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure. Isaiah 33:6
How much better to get wisdom than gold, to choose understanding rather than silver! Proverbs 16:16
The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good. Proverbs 15:3
As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17
Temptations come and go, we as Christians do not have the power to fight the Devil alone, rather let Christ do it. But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him, but said, "The Lord rebuke you! Jude1:9
But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:4-9
