BIOGRAPHY
The Oil City, Pennsylvania area is not well renowned for its music scene. Bands come and go; most never make it outside of the garage or the basement to see the light of jamming on a stage. Most never get to really experience the true dream of the crowd cheering you on and enjoying the music which you have created. There are however, exceptions to this statement. Nervous Existence happens to be one of those exceptions. Nervous Existence consists of 5 highly motivated and talented artists. Starting in late 2005, the band has slowly progressed from new-comers to the NWPA music scene, to being one of the few remaining well-known bands in the area. The band has shared the stage with numerous local acts and even some more well-known names, such as Drowning Pool. The band has traveled many miles in each direction to share their music with other people making many friends and contacts, and to share their music on the stage with other bands of many genres. Over the years, they truly have progressed in MANY ways and have finally established their true path in the foothills of the music scene. The first full-length album from the band, entitled "Repent for Nothing,†was recorded at East State Studios in the early months of 2007. Satisfied with that, they continued to play shows and were proud to self-distribute hundreds of CD’s, leaving an impression in every CD player, and mind that listened. In the summer of 2009, the band recorded the yet- to-be-released EP "Reparations."Overall, Nervous Existence has garnered an impressive underground reputation over the years and is ready to shed their own light in the metal world.
