TOM BROWN

Tom Brown aka T-Tada is a Hip-Hop artist, which nowadays is a truly dying breed. He was raised in Worcester, MA where his crew known as The SpaceShotSyndicate was formed. He has since journeyed to Boston Mass and Orlando Florida in pursuit of recognition as the truly original Emcee that he is. Tom Brown tries to avoid the cliché gangster rap image that’s become so popular in current mainstream hiphop. He grew up with that element close to him in his surroundings but vows on his 2006 track "Live It Up" "I used to sell drugs I erased all that/aint tryna be a thug I'm ashamed of that." (but don't get it twisted) "T's goal is to rap about topics that he's actually experienced and not creating a bullshit image behind the mic. Anybody who appreciates real hip-hop can appreciate that" says Browns long time business partner John Farnsworth. On the fourth quarter 2006 album "The Contradiction" Brown challenges hip-hop fans to realize the hypocritical nature of the rap game, and actually makes fun of his own hypocritical tendencies in the process. "The Contradiction" is the debut release from the Indie Record Label SpaceShotSyndicate. However it is not Tom's debut as an artist in any way. "I been rappin since I was ten" Brown says with a smile. "My mother gave me a karaoke machine when I was ten years old and I used to just grab the mic and spit my little bullshit raps for hours. I guess you could say it started there." In the Spring of 2004 Brown completed a mix tape entitled "Highly Anticipated" his friends and partners describe it as "a classic." In the first quarter of 2006 he released "The Preview" which as its title indicates was the last mixtape, the preview of what was to come on his debut album. Now with "The Contradiction" finally here Tom plays with the idea of "The Preview Part 2" while working on his next album but his main focus now is the promotion of "The Contradiction" as he is in the process of organizing a promo tour throughout the east coast.
