Well it’s been a while since this was updated and I thought it was time. Operation Batwing has come a long way since its inception- a pair of woman-hating extreme sports fanatics in their mid 20’s, fresh out of bad relationships and intent on recapturing the lost years of their lives.
The original mission of Operation Batwing was simple at best: Get laid, get some serious air, and whenever possible rain-down karma on all the cut-rate skeezers and LCW’s of the world. But the wisdom and vision of the Wing have expanded significantly since then.
The Wing not only persevered in recent years, but flourished, spawning several noteworthy side projects and growing into something larger and more sophisticated than was originally imagined. Our extensive network of wingmen and baitfish is now more diverse and expansive than we could ever have hoped.
And the members of Team Batwing have grown too. Some have embarked on new careers, while others have wandered close to the treacherous ledge of commitment, and even marriage. Still others go out each day with the same vigor of day 1, determined to disgrace the wanna-be’s and couch potatoes of the world with our accomplishments.
We’ve found new allies and lost a few good friends along the way. But through it all a short list of tenets has guided our vision and kept the Wing moving forward. These can best be summarized as follows:
1. Do the things other people only talk about. This one is simple. If it can be imagined it can be done, and the Wing is best suited for the job. We routinely see and do all the incredible things others dream about while sitting on their couches getting fat.
2. Meet women. Meet lots of women. If you’ve already met a good woman you are obligated to help other Wingmen meet more women. And your woman is obligated to help too, by stocking the pond with only her hottest friends!
3. Ignore the boundaries. Whether dodging jagged rocks on a snowboard in the Rocky’s, careening down a muddy single track at break-neck speeds, or pushing the envelope of pure indulgence, nothing is “off-limits†to the Wing.
So there it is. The Blogs, pics and videos pretty much tell the story. The roster may change with time, but the purpose and the resolve are ageless.
