The Ghetto Rock Bitches are the inception of b.rich and DJ AkirA MC of DownsiiD. While looking for new ways to liven up the stage show and promote the upcoming release of the "Evolution of GhettO Rock", they came up with the Ghetto Rock Bitches. After a Jaeger Bomb and a shot of Quervo (b.rich's with his signature Sprite chaser) the two happen to let their eyes settle on the stage of the infamous, Teazer's Strip Club. They watched the half naked dancer spin around the pole and drop it to a split to their song "Ballin'". At the same time two dancers walked by and they heard one of them say, "I'm the bitch taken these fools' money!!!" The incorporation of the sex sells saying and a ghetto ass females' best adjective to describe herself were combined with DownsiiD's Ghetto Rock music to create the power house promotion team, The Ghetto Rock Bitches...also known as The Ghetto Rock Chix to the kids, cause DownsiiD loves the kids. The team consists of both show active and non active members. Some of the ladies help by performing on stage with us, doing merch, meet and greets, and promotional work at shows. Others are part of the Inner Global Records Street Team and My Space Promo Team. They also rep DownsiiD in other side projects they may be involved in. The GRBs play an integral part in the promotion of DownsiiD and Inner Global Records. They have participated in local fund raisers, have been rings girls for the XFC, participated in on air interviews and will be featured in their very own Calendar slated for later this year.
