About Me

I have been married for 14 years (Feb), and have two great children (Aaron and Destiny), and a lazy lil’ dog named Joselyn. I have been in music ministry for almost 9 years. I Have seen some awesome things through the power of God. But the greatest thing I have seen is how he can take an ex-alcoholic/addict who didn’t even care if Jesus existed and use him to change lives all over the United States. And to God be all the GLORY. The greatest thing in life I have learned is this. You can’t capture the heart of God through a song. But when your kids say they love you and you know you don’t deserve it that is capturing the heart of God. Or when your wife comes home and doesn’t smell like another man, or a smoke filled room. That to me is more important than a song, or anything. The newest adventure we are on is in Mansfield. I am helping with worship at Christian Life Center in Mansfield. And I am also the choir director. They are awesome. Man am I having a good time, and they are so eager to learn and sing. And I am grateful for that. I have also learned that nothing happens without God knowing it. Everything is for a reason. Also I am so thankful to be sitting under the leadership of Pastor Gary, and Jeannie Hunt. What an awesome couple for the kingdom. No fancy stuff, just loves the people. And loves to reach the lost. No hooplah either. Oh yeah...NOT A BEGGER EITHER. Man am I tired of beggers. Driving 50,000 dollar cars and wanting more. DUH sell the garbage you have bought from your begging money and quit begging!!!-------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------

Influences: Gosh there are so many to list: Here we go!!! James Taylor, Reo Speedwagon, Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, STEVIE RAY VAUGHN, The Eagles, Lionel Ritchie, KISS, Bob Segar, Marshall Tucker Band, Motley Crue, Scorpions, Alice In Chains, Poison, Whitesnake, AC/DC and the list goes on, and on, and on. All of these were before CHRIST. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------------------------------No w My greatest influence overall is my Dad. The greatest story teller I have ever met. He can take a simple story and captivate you with it. Oh yeah, he is nuts also, lol. ================================================= Jesus is by far the greatest thing ever!!!!! To think he loves me, even though I should have been put to death, He told the Death Angel no, this one is mine. Gosh what is greater than that? ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------------------------------My wife...to those who know her she is definately worth knowing. Even when they persecuted her, and accused her wrongly, she still stood her ground and told me that we stiil had to love them. She helped me through the toughest time I had ever encountered. And that was having people we loved dearly accuse us of something that they should have known better. I guess hurt and anger can make you do some strange things. You baby are a true friend. ================================================= All Christian artists that walk the walk... Especially you SOUTHERN ROCKERS!!! ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------------------------------Mu sicians I have known and played with: Randy Hawkins, Donnie Pullem, Timmy T., Tim Opey, Jason Endicott, Larry Cadel, Caleb Dunlap, The whole Cataracts fall crew, old and new, Ben Johnson (you is truly crazy)...true that. Seth Coey, Pastor Bernie Sanders, Rob Hurst, My son Aaron, all the Pastors who have fed me in one way or the other. Bill Thompson, Brett Wall (one of the greatest song writers I know), Devon Caliri (sing my friend, the Devil can't stop your heart from singing), Shane Mullins (dude I love to watch you do your dance), Tony Mullins (dude you can rock the house), Kevin Harmon (Hero, in your presence, and the list goes on, I appreciate your humbleness...but dude you smoke also), And last but not least...............Chris Bartley (so much wisdom, and where you get your sermons from baffles my mind). You are a true friend, thanks for believing in the ministry, and in me. And for being there when it counted. =================================================If I missed anyone sorry...much love anyways.---------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ------
