PECKINPAH

About Me

Originally formed as a punk band called the 'eratics' back in 77. Notable for shambolic performances if very little else. Revived in the early eighties as 'Look Mummy Clowns' they became notorious for, you guessed it, more shambolic performances though of a more experimental nature. By 85 the band took off to America to become outlaws of 'Wild Bunch' proportions. Unfortunately they were too shambolic to pull it off. Some headed for Art school whilst another slaved for tesco; still another became a shambolic DJ on a boat in his local pond. Realizing that they had turned from snotty punks into psychedelic war-dogs they reformed as 'PECKINPAH' in 2005. Strangely their shows have become tightly coordinated pieces of insurgent Rock'N'Roll.

Thats how it goes
