Say Cheese!!!

About Me

I'm married to the love of my life Ron, we have 2 beautiful little boys(hellions) Cameron and Alexander- and we have our baby girl arriving this summer!!! no dog yet but it's in the works(but not if my Mother-in-law has her way). We bought our first home almost three yrs ago!(One of my goals to be a homeowner before 25) I have been a photographer in the US Navy for nine(!!!jeppers!!!) years because of being stationed in Virginia I had the opportunity to meet my hubby- I thank my lucky stars! I love having children because now I can go to Toys R Us all day and be a kid w/o looking like a weirdo- I can buy all the cool toys for them and still play with them myself. We won't bring up the meltdowns and embarassing tantrums they have when they don't get their way or when Cameron says the most complex reiterations of something he saw on tv and we're like where did that come from and who is this little man?!? As anyone who knows me can testify- I am a very friendly and goal oriented individual-when I don't get sidetracked, but I swear I don't have ADD. I intend to get some more experience in graphic design and journalism in the next few years and branch out into other areas.Any potential jobs for me to shoot send em my way- I have and do still do weddings!!!

My Interests

Photography(duh), any artistic expression-including the mural like scribbles the kids do all over the walls from time to time,my big coffee table art books they take up too much space, my portfolio ever growing, indian summers and fall afternoons spent outdoors, love the 4 seasons you get between Western Md(hometown) and Va, GOOD movies, shopping- but then again what woman doesn't, underwear & lingerie- it's become an obsession I need a bigger closet, men's ties... total fetish,Sex In The City- holding out on them bringing the girls back for a 7th season, love the color pink- reminds me I'm still a girl, maybe cause I'm surrounded by men (or women who should've been born with penises in the Navy), all kinds of music- if it moves me I like it- regardless of what may/may not be cool at the time, love mushrooms on just about anything, sushi, calamari, mojitos from PF Changs, vanilla anything- be it lotion, lip gloss, flavoring, sprinkles on anything you can put them on, stars- you've never seen the night sky unless you've been in the middle of the ocean- there are so many out there, shooting stars- seen a few- and yes I wish on them, keeping the magic of being a child inside and passing it on to my kids- i.e. santa, the tooth fairy, magicians, the circus- forget peta, reading to my children- I get as much pleasure as they do, living each moment to the fullest- not being a risk taker or anything crazy but every now and then just really taking it all in and realizing how fortunate I am to have all that I do.

I'd like to meet:

some of the movers and shakers of history- the people we read about in books and I want to ask them first hand how cool it must have been when they did the cool stuff they did over some foo foo drink. Remember Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure...don't know about the phone booth but the time travel part would be wicked. I'd also love to meet anyone who can bring anything positive to my life- a smile, a conversation,a coffee, a friend...if they can be all at once even better.

I found some really Cute Myspace Layouts at Doobix.com

Music:

Almost everything... and I mean that. If I can groove to it- Bonus! If I can booty shake, double bonus. You have got to see my boys serious dance skills though- just the other day they were getting down to some Ying Yang Twins- but we're pretty diverse.

Movies:

I wouldn't say I'm a movie buff but perhaps someone with a little too much free time and no moola to do anything. Accepting donations for my good time fund. I will post a Top 10 here soon not that I'm Siskel and Ebert...or the guy they replaced when the one guy died.

Television:

Sex and The City, HOUSE,Law and Order- any of them, The Family Guy, Entourage, Rome, ok pretty much HBO and Comedy Central anything, Lost, Extreme Home Makeover when I want a good cry, and TLC's What Not To Wear when I want a good laugh... oh and Nickelodeon- Backyardigans, Dora the Explorer and Blues Clues...they're good shows Anything in HD...oh yeah on the big TV!

Heroes:

Anyone who can stand up for what they believe and have a voice in the world- (pretty deep....) If I gotta be specific and not soooo broad Wonderwoman(love the accessories) and Dora the Explorer -they're my female "superheroes!" Especially Dora- damnit I need one of those backpacks- I'd so kick Swipers ass!
