Obi-Wan Ke-NOB-i

Well, life has been good as of late, for the most part (read more about this in my Blog "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly". Where I will discuss various positive events, and also some negative events as well.
Once again the summer went by too fast and we are aproaching the cold winter months in the not so distant future. Although the current days are picturesque with the changing colors of the trees and the cool but pleasant weather patterns, just knowing of the bitter cold that will follow shortly behind puts a bit of a damper on the beauty of fall.
Regardless, we had a good summer. We spent alot of time this summer on the new pontoon boat. Dasha really enjoys being out on the water, as do I. Funny how it just puts her at peace and she can fall asleep in an instant out there, quite an enjoyful way to spend some time.
Katya and Dasha also spent the month of June in Russia visiting family and friends. Time was hard to be seperated, but I kept busy around the house, which definitely helped to pass the time.
Katya is continuing on with her education in pursuit of her nursing degree. She is doing very well in all of her courses. She routinely maintains the highest grades in each class she takes. We are all very proud of her and her accomplishments. You also will read more about this in my blog "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly."
