About Me

What can I say: I can't do without music, I must play, sing, listen to anything that moves me emotionally. It all started back when I was 8 years old......my feet couldn't reach the pedals on my organ, but I knew then that music was something special for me!! My fingers learnt to move to the tunes of Elvis Presely and then slowly, the odd little melody I would compose myself. As a teenager, I started experimenting writing with samplers, sequences etc., and later began venturing out of my bedroom and out into the Melbourne bars/pubs circuit, in different line-ups. The style sometimes varied from pop/rock to funk and later even television programme scores........I guess a phase of learning; finding what I was really wanting. In the years to follow, my writing development experienced a sort of a dry spell as all my time and effort was dedicated to classical music. In fact I remained institutionalised for several years when I jumped from one music school/conservatorium, to another, until I finally escaped, so to speak, with a degree and a scholarship to study in Milan Italy. Finally concluding my studies, I decided to remain in Italy where I currently live, and concentrate on my writing. I joined an Italian Indie rock group by the name of Lo.mo (http://www.myspace.com//lomo2007) and became one of the key writers. Our debut album was released in 2006 and we continue to tour Italy with the hope of a new release shortly. For the last two years I've been working along side producer Giovanni Prolo, who has produced and recorded some of my songs as demos. We are still collaborating on new material.
