Bass Ministries. :-)_________________________________________________________ ______ ____________________________________________________________ _____ The purpose of J. Bass Ministries is to offer youth/young adults an avenue for self-advancement, specifically in the area of gospel/church choir workshops and other praise and worship opportunities. Our goal is to set up a stable network of communication between youth/young adults, their churches, and our ministry in order to offer as much education and as many ministry opportunities to as many people as God allows. We believe that there are many youth who are yearning to experience God in ways they've never experienced Him before, as well as learn how to really worship and praise Him in spite of. Our mission and duty then is to reach as many of these youth as God allows and create the opportunities for them to have these kinds of experiences. It is the vision of J. Bass Ministries to see youth/young adults lives changed because they have access to a ministry who provides them with the resources and love they would not otherwise receive.__________________ ____________________________________________________________ _____ J. Bass is a gifted and anointed preacher, songwriter, musician, and vocalist, who's old school flava, with a new school twist, adds to any service that he attends. His well trained ear allows him to pick up different varieties of music. Whether it's a take it to church, down-home service, or a contemporary worship service, J. Bass is able to flow. His "I don't mind" spirit has opened the doors for him to conduct several musical workshops in the states of Texas and Louisiana and he has also ministered in several major cities throughout the United states and Canada. His gift has truly made room for him as he is a highly sought after man of God. J. is also very efficient in working with church choirs and his "It doesn't take long to teach a song" spirit makes for an exceptionally effective time saving tool in rehearsal. He is an humble young man that does not mind doing the work of The Lord, especially when it involves going from church to church ministering. No matter what is entered in this brief biography/resume, it does not compare to experiencing the awesome, passion driven ministry of this young man. He is definitely someone for the gospel music industry to look out for........_____________________________________ ____________________________________________________________ ______ My name is JaCory Lanier Bass, but I ask that you refer to me as J. or J. Bass. I was born on Wednesday, June 16, 1982 at Memorial Medical Center in Lufkin, TX to Michael and Wilma Bass. I have one biological brother who's name is Erik Bass. I have another brother who MUST be mentioned and his name is D. Jones. I was basically raised in Lufkin, but we also lived in a truly country town by the name of "Sweet Union" for a while. I was saved at the age of 12 and baptized at my home church, Church of The Living God, C.W.F.F., Temple 328 in Lufkin, TX, where the pastor is Elder H. Earl Whitaker. HALLELUJAH!!!_______________________________________________ _____ ____________________________________________________________ ______ I've been singing most of my life and I started learning to play the organ/piano/keyboard at the age of 12. I've been working in church music departments as a musician since the age of 15. I do write songs. In fact, every song posted on this profile is a J. Bass original and there are SOOO many more where those came from. Please pray with me that God will allow me to record them with excellent quality. SURELY those of you who are recording artists can be a witness to the struggle... Well, unless of course you have the resources at your fingertips. . . . . I participated in "Show Choirs" (singing and dancing combined) at Lufkin Junior High West, Lufkin High School, and Angelina College.____________________________________________________ _____ ____________________________________________________________ _______ I have never been married, but I AM looking for Sis. I am SOOO glad to be home. ONLY God knows. Truly it is a privilege to serve God. I will definitely be adding more as time progresses. __________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________ _____ About the music you hear above: I MUST say thank you to Mr. Chris Hines and The Legacy Lounge Studio for working with me so far to get what you hear done (even tho' we have A LOT of work left to do), Mr. Desmond Jones (D. Jones), my little bro, for being one of the background and lead vocalist, and Ms. Clynese Glenn, my little sis, for being one of the background and lead vocalist. Can you all believe that there are only 3 MIGHTY big mouths singing all three parts on each song??? Now on some songs Cly hasn't been recorded yet, and D. may be missing on 1 or 2, but it's just us on all three parts. MIGHTY Soprano, Alto, and Tenor Supremes for The Lord. YES INDEED!!!
