About Me

What is there to know in the absence of knowers?

My Interests

Props where props are due: Thanks to Kerry Lee for the beautiful piece of art displayed here in my page. What an artist! I'll treasure it always!

I'd like to meet:

Julius Caeser and his whole clan.

Music:

All forms of music can be appreciated; however, weight must be applied to the following: Tool, A Perfect Circle, Radiohead, DM, Metallica (older), Duran Duran, Oingo Boingo, ALL Danny Elfman Composed music, Lords of Acid, No Doubt, Soft Cell, AIC, NIN, White Stripes, Skinny Puppy (some), Mozart, Dead Can Dance, Beethoven, John Williams, Jack Johnson (in chill mode only), Gravity Kills (remember them?), Pink Floyd, Paul Oakenfold (and other trancy musak), 2 songs by Front 242, et. al. I fancy myself an eclectic listener...

Movies:

The obligatory Star Wars trilogoy (IV-VI of course...III maybe if a drinking game is integrated into the watching experience) Memento, The Cell, Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Trainspotting, The Wall, Beetlejuice, Batman, The Goonies, Explorers, The Flight of the Navigator, The Dark Crystal, The Secret of NIMH

Television:

If I had time, I'd think about television. Besides, I hate following the TV fads...realty TV, CheeseSI, and all other brainless shows. However, I'll occassionally partake in a rerun of scrubs or the ever entertaining RENO 911!

Heroes:

"Every time a scientist, philosopher, artist, or athlete pushes our thresholds to new ground the entire race evolves. Ritual Magik is a system of disciplines and exercises aimed at activating parts of the mind we might normally never use (about 85%). Through this system a better understanding of ousrselves is attained. No true Ritual Magician has ever sacrificed life, drank goat's blood, or taken part in any other stupid urban legend ritual. This sort of behavior is left to the psychotic, dogmatic, fundamentalist believers you see on your T.V. everday letting off bombs and killing people in the name of God. Beliefs are dangerous. Beliefs allow the mind to stop functioning. A non-fucntioning mind is clinically dead. +BELIEVE IN NOTHING..." My Hero takes the form of a statement, of which a small portion is displayed here as written on the back of the album AENIMA

I'm only in TX for 1 day...so no steer jokes!

So, here I am in Texas...Houston to be exact.  Staying in a hotel near the megalithic airport called Bush Intercontinental.  I hope a plane doesn't crash into this hotel while I'm sleeping, ...

Sipping Vodka Tonic in America's Finest City...

I figured I'd write in a larger font to compensate for the lack of content in this evening's blog.  But who knows, maybe I'll get inspired mid-keystroke. Last time I wrote from New Orleans and di...

Where's Robbo?

Since this is myspace, I'll just have to treat it as such.  Today I'm feeling a little indifferent.  Somewhere between happy, hopeful, and maybe a little sad.  But who doesn't usually f...
