You are now studying about Zao. Zao was originally a North Korean operative under the command of Colonel Tan-Sun Moon. This Colonel illegally dealt in arms in the Demilitarized Zone of North Korea. The explanation of Zao's unique diamond encrusted face? James Bond, posing as a diamond smuggler, infiltrated Moon's base as part of a MI6 operation, hoping to exchange diamonds for arms and expose Moon, but during Bond's infiltration, he was exposed and the pre-rigged case of diamonds were exploded embedding several stones in Zao's face. Moon was supposedly killed in the assault and then Zao went rogue, killing three Chinese agents. He was later found and arrested by the UN forces in Korea. As Bond was held captive by Moon's father.
Highlights:*Giacinta 'Jinx' Johnson attempts to shoot Zao, but fails.*Zao caught up with Moon, who, through a course of gene therapy, became Sir Gustav Graves, and was relocated in Iceland. Bond with his curious self! indeed figures out Graves' true identity.
*Ordered to kill Bond, Zao enters his modified Jaguar XKR, activates thermal imaging and chases Bond's Aston Martin Vanquish "Vanish" across the ice plains. The chase led back to the ice palace, where Bond used the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish's adaptive camouflage to fool Zao into driving into the melted ice. Bond shot down a chandelier which landed on Zao, impaling him. The chandelier was, ironically, made from diamonds. Zao was killed? Well you determine. I believe Zao is still assassin/businessman for hire, time will reveal. Feel free to visit anytime. "There is Power in Numbers!"
