About Me

So you aren't anybody unless you've got a myspace, right? And that's the proper term; "got a myspace?" And the more PC screen freezing scripts and picture doodads on your pridespace, eghem.., myspace, the hipper you are? Right? So claim your myspace privilege and start stackin up your adds like every "pimpin" teenager and you'll have found your source of everlasting youth.... ermm, right? ... j/k sorry, talkin to myself :-)Dennis' MySpace Music Page

It's hard to not feel defined by the music that is in my life since I'm so immersed in it professionally and personally. I've been playing piano since age four. I don't really remember ever wondering what career I should go into.

I moved to L.A. from Bakersfield in early 2005 and am having a great time playing with some incredible musicians. My passion is jazz but I have an ongoing affair with melodic rock, and recently, symphonic electronic pop (if I might coin a genre), and rhythmically hip and danceable music like salsa, funk and hip-hop (only wish I was better at dancing with more than just my fingers... my sister got that gene). It's hard to find a perfect marriage of lyrics and music because I'm so moved primarily by tone. I often enjoy abstract lyrics that bend with my mood.
"That which is too cheesy to speak is sung"

(P.S. If I often experience glorious moments of child-like awe am I just forgetful and getting old?)
