Music, School, Camping, Hiking, Wine, Friends, and Computers.. I loved FFXI but as of recent have had to leave it behind... MapleStory is the new **FREE** MMROPG I've been playing, but here's to coming back someday!
I'd like to meet:
If I don't already know you, I'm cool. I never needed you as a friend unless you're genuine. I'll survive without you.
A few views I appreciate in life:
*** Treat others the way you want to be treated. If you don't, you'll be treated like ***SHEEEEEET***
*** Dance like no one is watching. Even if it's that bad, it won't make them blind. (I hope!!)
*** Be yourself; if others don't like it you'll find someone who does. If you don't, you've got issues, re-evaluate and try again.
*** Live each and every day to the fullest... you never know which will be your last. If tomorrow is your last, have you told everyone you love them?
*** Never do anything you wouldn't do in front of your mother. Unless it's not *that* bad and your mother would just give you that "I-saw-that-glare".... then, maybe it's ok.
*** Always be honest and say things with meaning. "Yeah, you look fat in that" is NOT ok for men to their girlfriends/wives, however.
*** Don't let problems grow. Solve them quickly before they mutate into a catastrophe.
*** Let your family know how much you love and appreciate them. They may not be around tomorrow to hear it.
*** Listen to your friends. They will be brutally honest, and even if it hurts to hear what they're saying, it'll hurt more in the long run if you don't.
*** Don't mooch. Everyone you know is just as broke as you are.
*** From experience: Don't blog when you've had too much wine/beer/gin/rum/whisky/vodka/etc.
*** Finish school at your first chance. If you don't know what you want to be, don't worry about it. Pick a major and just get a degree. You won't regret it.
*** Be yourself, don't gossip, and be a good person. It'll pay off either in personal morals or heaven (depending on what you believe in and whatever none of us know really happens) when you die.
*** GET OVER IT!!!! (see below, on my latest rant)
Take care, be safe, be good.
I'm not looking to hook up with anyone via here, so boys (and girls!), if you're looking, keep searching... I'm definitely not your gal. I don't add someone to my friend list just because. If you're already someone I know, send me a message who you are and I'll add you. Just really desperate to have 8639 friends on myspace? Life is not a popularity contest... having more people on you friend-list than Tom won't make you more special.
Current Rant:
People that think their life is the only one that matters.
People that wallow in self-pity (especially months after something doesn't work out for you and you continue to hate the world for it) just suck. Get over it.
Everyone has bad moments. I've had bad moments. My friends have had bad moments. You've had bad moments. Your mom (as well as her 3rd cousin twice removed) has had bad moments. I'm sorry to be the bringer of reality, but THE WORLD DOES NOT REVOLVE AROUND YOU!!! Get over it, find ways to pic yourself up, and just realize that sometimes things don't go your way. They won't always (sometimes they will) but life is full of disappointment that most people can get over. So
GET OVER IT. Jezuzzz... spare us all a little compassion, and learn that the world doesn't want to be brought down by the 'issues' you can't seem to move past.

Music:
I've a varied range of likes in music... I listen to whatever I'm in the mood for, from Blind Boys of Alabama for relaxing, to random techno to get pepped up for something. I'm not too fond of rap, but there is an exception to every rule. Favorite artists include Alison Krauss, Tim McGraw, Dido, Great Big Sea, Gorillas, Jeff Buckley, Shostakovich, Eminem, Pussycat Dolls, and many many others.
Movies:
I'm not much of a movie person.... but I am a wuss with horror flicks. I saw The Ring, and The Ring II a few weeks ago, poor Melissa had to put up with me, and even worse, poor Jesse had to listen to me shriek every 3 minutes while he was trying to sleep while Melissa and I watched them. Yes, I'm pitiful. *sob*
Television:
Grey's Anatomy (skip school when I can to see it), Sex & the City, The L Word, ER, Desperate Housewives, anything on the History Channel or Discovery.
Books:
I range from drama, murder, romance, biographies... I love fantasy and most fiction. More or less I read everything whenever I find time! If I don't have time, I don't read... and then I skip homework to read fiction so that I can have 'me' time. Bad me, but bad (and worse) homework!!
Heroes:
My hero is my mother. She is the most amazing woman I have ever met, and the is all I can strive to be.
