Created in 2005, the band immediately worked a lot for its promotion and 600 copies of its first self titled demo were sent to djs, promoters, radios, webzine/magazines and fans all around the world between 2005 and 2006.During this period, the band was acclaimed for its good performances on stage and has known a still increasing number of positive feedbacks.JOY DISASTER released its first album "J.D." in September 2006 and sold 500 copies during gigs. The band also started being distributed by the French label MANIC DEPRESSION and the German label STROBELIGHT RECORDS.In the meantime, JOY DISASTER's sound reached more and more countries such as Germany, England, USA, Austria, Italy, Spain, Chile, Mexico, Finland, Holland, Australia, Portugal, Scotland... And the band fan base kept on growing.The band recorded its new LP "PARANOÏA" in September 2007 and played all accross Europe during this last year.JOY DISASTER lately found a great soud technician for live sound engineering and studio recordings. The band is now returning to the studio to record the new single "THE LIGHT".Next album release and next tour are in sight for 2009, so stay tuned!
