I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm a pretty laid back person with a free spirit. I like to write and hang out with friends doing whatever. I'm easy to please and easy to get along with. I can't think of much else to say about myself since simplicity is always complex so....I am what I am, and have yet to become the person I am meant to be. The eyes are the windows to the soul, so look...and tell me what you see.Updates soon..or eventually at least.... PUT YOUR ABOUT ME SECTION HERE! My Interests

I like to write, go to poetry slams, and listen to music. Music is and always will be my first love!!

I'd like to meet:

Someone who can say Turcores the first time and then not jack up the spelling! I'd dance to that!My sorors (Skee-Wee to the first, foremost, and finest!), Jesus (but not soon), John Legend (amazing isn't he!), Oprah, Ervin "Magic" Johnson, Tyler Perry... Music:

What's currently playing on the pod? John Legend, Anthony Hamilton, The Elements (Earth Wind & Fire for those that don't know), and Maxwell!!

Movies:

The Color Purple, Coming to America are my favorites for drama and comedy respectively. Other then that there's far too many to name.

Television:

I love ANTM, Grey's Anatomy, 24, Law & Order:SVU & CI and I'm a Wheel of Fortune junkie (who knew!).But wait, I can't forget "The Golden Girls"...it's the best show ever created, and is truly TIMELESS!!

Books:

I love to read! Lastest favs = The Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison, Go Tell It On The Mountain by James Baldwin, and Spend Well, Live Rich by Michelle Singletary....It can't always be about ZANE, especialy when the history of Black rhetoric is so deep & rich!!

Heroes:

My mom, my godmother, my 4th grade teacher Ms. Evans, my line sisters, and countless others! We should grasp inspiration and comfort in the many people that we encounter, there is a "hero" in us all.
