Welcome to my Myspace
anyway Enjoy the profile! This shit has been here since i first made this myspace O_o wow eh? (6/18/08)"I'm Matt =) I'm addicted to music, mostly metal, technical, and classical sht, and I play guitar. Im in a very recent project named, Suffering of the Conquered and have great friends in and out of the band that support me. This is a pretty old autobio I wrote, but maybe youll learn a little about me Im Matt , born Belgium, Europe, for 3 years and I moved to america at 4 years. I can't remember being in Europe, though I have heard much about it from my parents. Age 4 , our first house was is Biloxi, MS, it was pretty small, we were fucking poor back then. Age 5 , when i started kindergarten with a teacher by the name of Mrs. T, I recieve my first musical instrument from my father. The brilliant walmart pos Flaminco nylon string acoustic Guitar, however, being as i was at a young age of five, i declined shortly after from lack of interest. Age 7 , my dad soon after I quit persisted to bring me through many instruments, let me tell you that his prefered choice in music was Country / Bluegrass, so i never became interested in music period until later. I never have been a huge fan of country and most likely never will, though today over the years of playing, i have found a few very accomplished guitarists of the country genre. Anyway, he began to teach me the Violin, but yet again, I delclined from no interest after weeks of playing Age 8 , My dad still persisted, and got me a mandolin when i was about 8, but of course, blugrass and my taste have never mixed, so i quit after about a yearAge 9 , after my third grade year in St. Martin North Ele., I move to a gay private christian school named Hope Academy. i hated it and at thirteen, i move back to St. Martin High for my 8th grade year Age 13 , my first high school year, i met many great friends. my first and best friend was Michael A in 8th grade. 2 months into junior high, i met Cody Bla (the future reason of me playing guitar today)he also being the reason for my music selection, being metal and Froto, one baddass nigga, both are my best friends today. i also met others such as Allan, DK, Jenny ,Sammie, JJ, Deshae, Nikky, Meagan, chris, Nick, and many others, During the summer , Cody came over to my house for the first time and picked up my old Electric Epiphone Special Model that my uncle Jesse left me, while hes in prison. and plays "White Stripes - Sevenation Army", before this, i had no knowledge of cody being able to play the instrument, but his experiance at this time was at a week and a half, he taught me "Sevenation Army" which became my first song at my 14th birthday party! i quit origami for the guitar, thank chris(t). Age 14 , I felt baddass after playing my first song on the instrument, which would lead me to play day and night. cody came over almost every day and we jammed all the time until school was back, i was the only one with an amp. My parents, shortly after hearing me play, started paying for guitar lessons, James, was my guitar teacher. he was an amazing teacher, i learned alot from him, he was agreat inspiration to me, and it was very fun to jam with him, as a matter of fact, Alan started taking lessons from him shortly after! While having lone practice sessions, i would try to learn a new song every day, as well as scales chords and theory. i began to realize that if anything, ill always play guitar, whether i do it for work, or for fun, i began writing and composing my own music, writing my first song which i doubt "Unforgiven" it was ok, but my friends and guitar teacher loved them. shortly after, for my birthday, my parents buy me what is now considered by me, my fucking child, my Gibson Les Paul Supreme! i loved and still love that guitar more than any other. 9th Grade , my good friends Jenny, Nikky, and Freddy move, i felt pretty bad after this for a while, jenny is still a good friend of mine. i met chris(t) and blake for the first time, and find out that christ is an accelling guitarist and baddass party thrower, 9th Grade Summer , i met brian for the first time through allan, we all jam together and skate, very fun and good friends. i go to the skating rink and see DK, after this, i meet a lot of new friends, such as Kristina, Care, Jessica, Candy, and many more. I date alot and begin feeling like shit because the phone rings constantly and i dont have the time for guitar because of it, 9th Grade Summer , a very sad day, happened during that summer, a few hours after a sad breakup between me and Sammie, the phone rang, i picked it up, and sammie explained to me that Jenny's mom had died in a car crash, it really sucked, at the time, there was nothing i could do, nor much any of us could do, except talk to her and hope whatever we say could ease the pain a little, sammie was the most devistated, i talked to her and tried to help her. I hoped jenny was ok, and that other friends were helping her get through this. Age 14 , i hung out with my friends, dated, played guitar, same shit Age 15, 10th Grade , i meet paul for the first time, i start to understand and appriciate music more because of his extatic collection of music files, i also meet corey for the first time through paul, id heard many guitarists at school talk about his playing technique and had wanted to hear him play. other people i meet in the tenth grade include, Kristina (I actually met her for the first time during ninth grade summer, as well as i whole group of other people, but i had not known that she went to my school at the time, very good artist), Will (i met during my first time of spending the night at pauls house, we're just aquaintences, he drove Corey), Eddie (Exceptional guitar player, would like to jam with him some day, but as for now just recording my own stuff), and Adam (Excetional keyboardist, Practicing guitarist, and great pizza maker). Hurricane Katrina Hits with extreme force and destroys everything, i lose power for weeks, i have nothing but an old Acoustic guitar to keep me company, i learn scales and music theory and fingerstyling techinque on the instrument, after the power is back many friends move all thats left are Alan, Deshae, Cody, Froto, Sammie, Nick, and Rachel. Alan moves to Luesdale because his mom wants to, i have not seen or heard from him since. Sammie leaves, i do not know precisly where or even why shes not at school, i dont understand, everyones leaving, paul gets a job ,meaning he no longer has much time to spend with friends. Everyone was pretty much gone for a while, heh. that time period really sucked, i felt my friends were drifting further and further, so i begin to play guitar more to ease lonelyness, i begin playing 8 to 10 hours everyday i could, sometimes more. i would fall asleep playing guitar, read guitar books, and eventually started to feel better and forget about everyone else"lol wow, that was a boring story wasnt it?
