Born in the late Sixties to a family of immigrant Scottish farmers, JJ spent most of his youth tending to his family's small fishing boat out of
Gloucester, Massachusetts along Cape Ann and the Great Banks fishing haddock and cod. Like many young men of his family's ancestry, JJ had a great love for the sea, and he decided to attend college and study Marine Biology, Astrophysics, and Shakespeare. It was studying as a foreign exchange student at the
Russian Institute of Marine Biology in Vladivostok-41, Russia where JJ met the woman who would become his first wife, Inga Swengaliska, a
Russian lingerie model and women's basketball star. But their romance was to be a short one. Two months after their wedding, Inga was lost in a plane crash above the
Bering
Strait . JJ spent the next two years in solitude hiking the
Himalayas . It was in Tibet where he began his quest into the secret mysteries of the ancient
Buddhist monks amidst the serene and spiritually rejuvenating environment.
In 1989, he returned to the United States and took up residence in New York where he finished his degree in Biology and a second in
Literature . First he became an ordained Christian minister, and then he entered graduate school and taught for four years at the prestigious
Buchanan
High School where he met his second wife, a lithe Venezuelan
beauty called Laura. But alas, that romance was also to end abruptly when the lass was abducted by a former husband and

JJ's hobbies include oil wrestling every other weekend at Mr. Happy's "Ladies Night,"
