About Me

Hi! My name is Scott and there is nothing to say about me.
:-P.
Though my wife would beg to differ and so I thought I would finaly fill this thing out. I got married this last year; pretty much the best day of my life. I got to spend 10 days in Alaska with my beautiful new wife, and though we had some unfortunate events, it was probably the best week of my life. After that fantastic vacation, I returned to work. I work for a Civil Engineering firm in Sonoma County, California where I grew up. If you don't know what a Civil Engineer does, I design roads, commercial development, and private infrastructure. I enjoy my job immensely, I get to work with some of the wierdest Mother F*ckers you could imagine so I fit right in, and we make a good damn time of it. I am a homebody to the core, and as such, I don't tend to get out much. I much enjoy staying at home with my wonderful wife, watching tv, or playing some video games (the latter more likely). I love playing video games; it's probably my second favorite thing in life besides my wife. At the moment I am absorbed fully in Halo 3. I'm also dabbling in Guitar Hero 3, but I suck pretty hard. My favorite games besides the aformentioned are Oblivion, The Jak games, GTA, Gears of War, Bioshock (and though I have this, I got it right before Halo 3 so I haven't played it yet, but I love the idea of it). In the coming years I plan to return to school, to work towards my Bachelors in engineering. I am taking a test in April to be certified as an Engineer in Training. I have some wonderful friends who are very supportive of me, and who I appriciate very much. I have more whom I would like to be as close to as I was at one point; I miss these people more than I expect they know. I want to exercise my creative side more these days. If you know how to weld let me know... I want to learn. It has been many years since I have writen the way I used to and I would love to do it again, if only I could find the words like I used to. I think that's about it. This layout was handmade with love by the folks at My space or yours? Go get one!

My Interests

I'm not the most exciting person in the world. In fact, my interests are perfect examples of my geekdom. I'm a hardcore gamer and total computer nerd. I like to read when possible (favorite books: A Clockwork Orange, Catch 22, Slaughter House V, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy), and Like to listen to music all the time. Some people might say that my musical taste is a little unique (favorite bands: Anything With Les Claypool [primus, Bucket of Bernie Brains, Frog Brigade, Oysterhead, orbital, Dead Can Dance, The White Stripes]). I like to watch alot of movies too (Run Lola Run, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, Monty Python: The search for the Holy Grail, Soylent Green [is people!]). Other than that, my main huge interest lies in the love of my life... Stephanie

I'd like to meet:

Anyone remotely close to having any qualities somewhat similar to my dad. Cause they must be good people. Old friends... I miss you guys. Talk to me. We should hang out more. Definitely.

Music:

As I said in my interests, I really like music and my taste is a little unique. By far my favorite band is Primus. I own all but one of the CD's that Les Claypool has ever recorded. Right now I'm really into electronica, my favorites there being Orbital and the Blue Man Group. All day at work I listen to Live 105 over the internet cause im just out of there range otherwise. Of course my first love will always be rock, but the local station has this horrible tendency to play the same songs over and over and over, so I don't know the most recent releases like I use to, but Mudvayne and Rammstein are my favorites on that end. On the opposite end of the spectrum, I'm really into classical music, specificaly the more well known: Bethoven, Mozart, and such.
