About Me

BLUE FUSE

Blue Fuse is a duet, guitar and voice, man and woman, rhythm and heart. Its repertoire, currently under development, is rooted upon jazz traditionals, blues, ragtime and something else in the outskirts of rock. Mentors and muses are those great stars belonging to the country and blues tradition, black but not limited to it, that we dream of and that inspire us – Carter Family, Johnny Cash, Jerry Reed.. Joe Pass, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, Janis Joplin, etc..
The duet was born almost out of a joke, and that’s quite sweet, in February of 2008. It was 6 a.m., at the end of a true, homemade (literally) “music festival”, at a friend’s place, a never-ending birthday party. The potentialities and the small gems that arose pushed us to provide the duet with a sort of a formal status, starting from some tunes that the two of us had had ramblin’ on our minds for some time Blue Fuse have played as guests during the concerts of the great fingerpicking guitarist Davide Citrolo and, thence, of the delta blues duo BLUES TRAIL (Davide Citrolo and Luca Vaglica). Since May 2009 we started playing our "very own" concerts, thus having the great pleasure of being guests to those friends who have helped us to get here.
This MySpace profile, being the actual birth of Blue Fuse, has seen the light on 16 August 2008 and is being brought forward by the sheer, happy passion for good music and good life. As new tracks are going to be cut, new material will surface here. We look forward to convey our musical emotions – come back soon!
