The Art of Marcelo Goycoechea

To whom it may concern, my name is Marcelo Goycoechea. I am a 26 year-old artist that loves to make cartoons and ilustration. I am also a proud creator of my original cartoon character, SNUFFLE THE RAVER BABY (feature on my TOP 8) All of my time, given anytime that I have during my day I spare it all to creating art that I've given up most of my regular interest, TV, movies and video games. the past few years I've gone through major changes in my art and surely for those who know me from high school can agree that my style have changed indefinately.Since my graduation in high school in 2000, I went to attend New York City Technical College majoring in advertising. unfortunaly it was a very short lived experience ( a 1/2 semester stint) and droped out of college. In spring of 2001 I took up a job as a recieving associate for SEARS RoBucks (now called SEARS HOLDINGS)where I remain working for 6 years. During that time I took up a art correspondence course from ART INSTRUCTION SCHOOLS in August 2002 and in oct of 2005 graduated with certificate of completion in the Fundamentals of Art.in 2006 I launch my first Myspace account "SNUFFLE THE RAVER BABY" featuring that profile with my art and my interest in the rave scene.After leaving Sears in 2007, I took up a new job as a PORTER for a high rise residental buliding where I currently work. Since then I had took up only ONE gallery show at a local bar in Manhattan (NYC) "TEN ELEVEN" in December 2007.. but since then I have not able to find anyone else to host my work.So this is what comes down to right now-I have opened up this page as an outlet to dedicate that is the art made by ME, yes, everything that you see on this page is made by yours truly. I have also made this page in attempt to promote ONLY my work and nothing else.. In the coming weeks and months I will be adding in more peices of art.. some in which will be on sale and in the future i;ll hopfuly bring back the Online BLOG AUCTIONS once I acquired enough people on my friends list..
