The Missing "Pussycat Doll"

Okay, I have had a few requests lately to update my profile, so here goes: My goal in life is to be a relationship counselor. I want to have my own practice that specializes in working with couples that face additional challenges to their relationships, if it’s cultural, religious, ethnic, pressures from society (like interracial couples or same sex couples.) I am working very hard on my listening skills right now because I believe you learn some of the most important things when your mouth is closed. It’s a learning process for me because In general when I talk to someone about a concern, I am asking for input and ideas. However, many people just want to talk. I believe in honesty and open communication. I have an open mind, and I try very hard not to be judgmental. I think these things are key not only in romantic relationships, but friendships as well. Which brings me to my second passion in my life, my family and friends. I will give whatever I can to help anyone I care about, even sometimes people I don't.So I must make a couple confessions: I love music, I listen to it constantly, I sing along and yes if I like the song I may even start it over to hear the “good part again”. I sing karaoke…yeah I said it! Dammit! I like singing karaoke, so there! (Okay I’m a little defensive…) I like movies, even the cheesy Romantic –Comedies that are so unrealistic that you want to throw things at the screen and you find yourself hollering “That shit never happens!!” I read, a lot. I minored in African-American Studies and have had a lot of recent exposure to black authors. I love it and I recommend everyone read Toni Morrison’s "Recitatif", and Maya Angelou’s "I know why the caged bird sings". It will make you a better person, or at least make you look at yourself more clearly. However, again I must confess, I do also read romance novels. No, there is no deeper message and it’s not going to improve my mind, but they are entertaining, funny most of the time, and most of the one’s I read have hot sex in them and you can’t beat that! I do believe in romance in real life and it starts with treating people with respect. I am affectionate with friends and lovers. I have heard that I am a very good kisser, but it must be because it is my favorite thing to do. Layout made by
