I completed graduate studies in Information Systems at Penn State University, and spent the last decade researching ancient African-culture.I am a guitar player and singer, recording songs as time permits. My father, the late Nate Edmonds, Sr. was an accomplished musician and record producer--who co-wrote great hits like "Love On A Two Way Street" and produced the world's first hit rap recording...."Rapper's Delight" by the Sugar Hill Gang. He also recorded with Dizzy Gillespie, Ray Charles, Jimi Hendrix and shared the stage with the Jackson 5, the Count Basie Orchestra, and many other notables. My mother, stage-named Sharon Soul, had several hits in Europe and was a respected artist. Needless to say, I am proud of them both!As you may have guessed, my heritage is mixed. Through the hope of DNA testing, I have learned that my father's maternal ancestry is the Tikar tribe in present-day Cameroon - West Africa, we are waiting on paternal results; and my beautiful and talented mother--is Dutch-Irish. I am thankful for my mixed heritage, it makes me feel...as we all should...unique!Where I'm Going...
Recently, I purchased land outside of Accra in Ghana - West Africa--and expect to begin building a house in the next few years. It will, Lord willing, be my place of refuge, vacation, and retirement.Other than that, I'm just trying to stay out of trouble by keeping busy programming sites and breathing life into the creative ideas of Kelechi and Jeno (myspace.com/mrjeno)...Yours Truly...with Hot Sauce!Sir Nate....
My Interests
I'd like to meet:
Myself 15 years ago - and myself 15 years from now. We could meet at the local 24/7 diner - and talk all night.
