My life has expanded so much at this point. not only with the support of others, but my drive and motivation will never die. so hello, my name is Alex Blunt aka DjSlick. LA is where i claim my grounds. its square one for me. haha. im sure that there is alot of people here in LA that claim what they are isnt really true. but as for me, i say the truth. I'm a nightlife promotions coordinator, I started my own HOLLYWOOD 323 PROMOTIONSmy name has been spread across LA territories pretty fast now. i am still young, and there are still many things for me to experience. i haved worked really hard to get where i am at this point. and with more than great effort, great opportunities come your way. I have two great parents who I love very much. I believe in fighting for the good of humanity and that there are no limits but the limits you put on your self. I try to be the best person I can possibly be each and every day. I accept my limitations and realize that there are certain things about myself I cannot change and I accept who I am and try to be true to myself.Now im being offered many great chances. and im not going to hold back like before. this is my year to prove myself, this is my year to really state who i am. 2009 looks bright, although the air is really tense some days, and things just may seem like there not right, but luckily enough for me, i have people who i can go to. and those peers i will never forget, because they have shaped me to who i am today. people think they know me, but at times they just to hear some more. but you dont even know, that i can change the way you think and what you idealize, i love to inspire those who would love to get started in the entertainment industry. you ever need advice, or simply just how you can get started, i would love to help you out with that:) helping those who i inspire is the greatest feeling. hearts are made of secrets, but those who contain the key, can discover many new things. so fell free to ask me anything. dreams can die, but to have a passion will never die. so this year, im going to make something of myself, something new and fresh, unique to the world...I am a person who usually maintains a positive outlook and feels that things will work out for the best. I can usually find something to be enthusiastic about and different ways to occupy myself. I like being around people and helping others be happy—I enjoy sharing my own well-being with them. (I don’t always feel great, but I try not to show it to anyone!) However, staying positive has sometimes meant that I’ve put off dealing with my own problems for too long.I have tended to be fairly independent and assertive: I’ve felt that life works best when you meet it head on. I set my own goals, get involved, and want to make things happen. I don’t like sitting around—I want to achieve something big and have an impact. I don’t necessarily seek confrontations, but I don’t let people push me around, either. Most of the time, I know what I want, and I go for it. I tend to work hard and to play hard.I may look shy on the surface, but I can be ROMANTIC & PASSIONATE if you let me hold you in my arms and allow me to kiss your sweet lips...;-) Aside from this I can be a good friend too. You never know who these people may be but when you look eyes with them, you know that every moment that you are with them, they will affect your life in some profound way. And sometimes things happen to you at the time that may seem horrible, painful and unfair, but in reflection you realize that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, will power or heart. Everything happens for a reason! Nothing happens by chance or by means of good luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere, safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless. The people you meet affect your life. The successes and downfalls that you experience can create who you are, and the bad experiences can be learned from.... In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones. If someone hurts you, betrays you or breaks your heart, forgive them because they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom you open your heart. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally not only because they love you, but also because they are teaching you to love and open your heart and eyes to little things. MAKE EVERYDAY COUNT! Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people who you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Let yourself fall in love, even if it doesn't seem right because you are too young or too far, just follow your heart. Surround yourself with those who make you smile, laugh, and make you happy. Break free and set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you.
