CARDO brings new life and originality to the world of Hip-Hop. Hailing from Robbins, IL, a south suburb of Chicago, he is no stranger to the stage nor to the production world. His love for music spawned a career as a local DJ which quickly opened the doors for him to bring his music and street knowledge together on stage as a Hip-Hop/Rap artist. His versatile rap style, bangin' trax, and immaculate flow, immediately made Cardo a local celebrity, sharing the stage with other prominent Hip-Hop and R&B artists such as R Kelly, Da Brat, Twista, Immature, Too Short, and Common.Upon moving to Los Angeles, as CEO and Head Producer of Platinum Kit Productions, he was signed to a production deal with Vertex Records/Earthsong Entertainment, owned and operated by the legendary Chaka Khan. Under their umbrella, Cardo wrote and produced for Chaka Khan, Indira Khan, and other up and coming artists.As an artist and producer, his talents have allowed him to travel the world. In 2005, Cardo was invited to the Turks and Caicos Islands to produce a 14 track project with the islands' hottest Hip-Hop/Rap act, "Blakout Crew" . Their single, "Pimp In The Game" is currently 1 on the charts in TCI and Jamaica.Shortly after, Cardo relocated to London, where he recorded the newly released single "Want You Back" with Hip-Hop group 617, on Accura Records. He also produced a Chi-town remix of "Want You Back".Currently, Cardo is back in the US performing, writing and producing his own project & duo Hip-Hop/R&B group "SIVUL", both due to drop late 2007. His other recent projects include placing songs in Television and Film including; "The Path to 911"(ABC), "The Byron Allen Show"(NBC), various programs on BET and TBS stations and Jamie Kennedy's hit MTV show "Blowin' Up". He has produced tracks for Jamie Kennedy's "Unwashed" comedy/hip-hop CD & DVD (Jizzy Entertainment), Actress and R&B vocalist KeKe Palmer (Atlantic Records), and Hip Hop artist DRO (RSMG/Def Jam Records).With a solid work ethic and a genuine personality, Cardo has what it takes to rise as the next leader in the entertainment industry.
