HELP US MEET OUR GOAL TO WALK FOR A GREAT CAUSECHECK OUT MY BLOG TO DONATE!!!!Hey there, first of all my real name is Christi but I'm pretty sure the only person that calls me that is my little sister. I've been Chris since 3rd grade when another Christy and I kept getting confused so then and there was when I started doing things to make things easier for others. I can honestly say these last 4 years of my life have been the hardest and the one and only reason I have come up with is because I was living my life for everyone else and their happiness and not for whom I should have been, MYSELF. So I have taken it upon myself to start this year out different and take more time out for little ole, ME! I just got a new job with United Properties in Minneapolis! I start April 16th, I am very excited but timid toward the whole Mpls way of living as well so any pointers are welcome! I really think I'm going to like it and this new adventure holds a lot of potential for my future! I went to school for Early Education but didn't finish essentially because working full time and being a toddler teacher full time was too much for me to handle so I decided to make the career change, but don't get me wrong the school I did attend taught me a lot.I am a very intuitive person and don't get me wrong I will not be making any changes toward the people in my life and how much time they'll be receiving from me but more importantly first and foremost I'll be doing what is in MY best interests first. I am probably one of the most loyal, caring and trustworthy people you'll ever meet. I have a ton of friends that I would do anything for absolutely any of them and I know they would do that same. That is one of the best things about getting older you realize that some of your so-called friends aren't really friends at all and some of your most distant friends (mileage wise) are perhaps the best! I am truly blessed with a wide variety of friends and always have someone to turn too.Other than all that mushy stuff I am your typical 27 year old. I'm saving up money to buy my own place and always keeping my ears open for that dream job. I have no problems relocating my family is great and are very supportive of whatever I do. I do a lot of volunteer work that honestly is an indescribable feeling of self worth. Whether it's Meals on Wheels and delivering meals to the elderly with a gift on Christmas, or picking up my "little" through Big Brothers Big Sisters and seeing the smile on her face when we go some place new it always brings a tear to my eye. I have done so many incredible things that I know have touched so many other people it's the best feeling EVER.I am very active and always busy. In the spring, summer and fall I play softball and absolutely love it. Not only for the social aspect but the physical aspect. I try to get to Lifetime as much as possible working out is actually somewhat of an addiction for me. It helps me clear my head but not thinking at all, sounds weird I know but trust me a bad day at work is quickly cured after a good 45 minute run on the elyptical machine!All in all...I'm pretty much the whole package :) You can bring me anywhere from a super fancy dinner and a play to tailgating at a Twins or Vikings game. I love going to cabins in the summer to fish, hang out by the bonfire and of course bask in the sun. I love to travel and have been lucky to have done quite a bit. Parents love me and kids love me even more! I have the ability to make people feel good about themselves no matter what which in return helps me feel good about myself. I firmly believe that things happen for a reason and all the things that have happened so far in my life have made me who I am today, and if you ask me (or any of my friends) we'll tell ya, I'm kind of a big deal :)
