Swerved

I'm a simple guy. I don't like drama or nonsense and I hold my peace most of the time. But if I get pushed to the point of venting my frustrations, I can be pretty blunt.
I work at a company that applies specialty metal coatings (for corrosion resistance, etc) with plasma generated by electricity. We put the coatings on various steel construction materials, depends on the customer. It's rather difficult to explain exactly. Suffice to say, I get paid to play with large amounts of electricity and to make stuff light up... you can see it [HERE] . I am the former keyboardist/backup vocalist for Vertical Swerve , but that chapter of my life is now closed. I spent several years all over the country in various clubs and bars playing music. The bar/club scene got really old for me, but I do have a lot of fond memories and few regrets. It was some of the best years of my life and I'll always be proud of those times, as well as the crazy fuckers that helped make it possible for me.
I still play my keyboard often and still compose a little in my spare time (whenever that is). Whether I am performing for other people or playing for my own enjoyment, music will always be part of my life.
All that said, I like my quiet nights at home now for the most part, though I do venture out sometimes. Especially around football season for LSU games, and in the fall to go to the Texas Renaissance Festival or the Louisiana Renaissance Festival. I attend those without fail every year with a rather large group of monks and gypsies...Here's our site, check it out!
