I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Before I get to all the stuff about me, I'd like to tell you about Jesus.

JUST KIDDING!

Alright, about me... I'm an artist, crafter, and designer of random things. In the past I've dabbled in songwriting and novel writing, but that's pretty much out of the question now that I not only own my own store in downtown Springfield called Fashioned By Jaye, but also work overnights at Kum & Go. (Yeah, I know you're giggling.) If you want to check out the goods, I have an art portfolio website at bits-of-paper.com and my official store site at fashionedbyjaye.com .

Also, check out the Fashioned By Jaye MySpace, which is down there in my top friends. Be sure to subscribe to the video blog.

I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I'm mostly interested in meeting people who like art and crafts. And by "like" I mostly mean "want to buy." Make with the money, betches.

But I'd also like to meet cool people for the purpose of being internet acquaintences as long as they're gay-friendly and have a sense of humor.

Just a little hint, though... I don't spend time chatting online. I'm not looking for cybersex or real life sex or anyone's web cam or couples to swing with. If I add you as a friend and you post a zillion bulletins I will delete you. I'm all for friends, but I don't have the time nor the patience for annoying ones. Got it? Thank you.

My Blog

Is there anything more disturbing...

...than finding out that your mother has a Facebook page?  If she ever gets a MySpace, I'm fleeing the country.

A year of mostly fail

So, at some point early this year I made a list of things I wanted to accomplish during 2008.  Don't know why I felt compelled to do so, since I suppose chances were slim that a significant porti...

NIN, take 2!

I believe in the blog I wrote about the NIN show in August, I expressed a fervent desire to be in the pit instead of in seats for the next one.  So, if the curiosity has been killing you, we did ...

All over the place...

For some reason I feel like blogging.  Don't know exactly why, as my thoughts are really pretty scattered right now.  I can't even decide if I'm in a good mood or not.  I'm not in a par...

Not as exciting as NIN, but probably more important... I’m getting locked up!!

Seems by opening my own business, I've become one of those members of the community who gets called upon to participate in charity-type things.  Specifically, I'm participating in tomorrows "Lock...

Best. Concert. Ever. So.... Now what?

After last week's concert escapades... or whatever we want to call what transpired last Wednesday... I had pretty high hopes for the Nine Inch Nails show tonight.  Or, I don't know if hopes ...

The whole story...

So, Kourt skimmed the highlights, but I figured I'd weigh in on the whole Linkin Park concert experience.  It had it's highs and lows -- actually, by the time I got home I wasn't the happiest cam...

Very clever, Mr. Reznor

I finally got it yesterday.  You know how the newest Nine Inch Nails album is free online? It seems Trent Reznor is giving us "The Slip." Funny.

Totally worth the 8 hours of driving (and we didn’t even stay for the headliner)

So Saturday night was the much anticipated Neurosonic show in Oklahoma City.  Okay, technically our tickets say "Puddle of Mudd," but whatever.  Neurosonic could have been opening for Up Wi...
