The alias, Strip, is a derivative of his last name, Striplin, given its legendary touch by his father, Steve Striplin, of the 70s solid gold recording group Natural Four. With Strips dad being his sole musical influence, Strip was able to tap into his ability to sing at the age of three years old. Since his dads passing in July of 2005 and the untimely death of two of his brothers, Strip continues to carry on the legacy of excellence that was passed onto him, equipting him with the ability to reach unimaginable heights in the music industry.Strip was born and raised in Milpitas, California of the San Francisco Bay Area. Being the youngest of four boys, Strip inherited many traits that assisted him in his abilities to rap, sing, produce and arrange his freshman album as a member of the rap duo, True Hoggs. Strips musical drive and persistence to create a financial pipeline and legacy of truth for his children, all give his music its attractive rhythm that captures the ears of all who listen.Up and coming is Strips debut solo album entitled, Take It All Off or T.I.A.O. for short.
