Biography
Listening electro music (especially trance) since 2ooo motivates me to start making my own music. Eight years after, I bought some equipment which were the minimum standards to make own tracks (implicites not to work which fixed samples).
The minimum standards include a computer with a music production system, a soundcard, a midi keyboard and some synthesizers.
At first the synths were from the internet and for free. The problem was that the creators of the synths didn't keep to the guidelines of the music productions system so they sometimes became incompatible.
Being pissed I invest some money in Arturia synthesizers (software version). They produce nearly all types of sounds you need for trance music.
Unfortunately they didn't support fat drums. The solution was buying a drumcomputer.
The next problem was that the latency of the soundcard was too high.
Okay so let's buy another better soundcard.
So there I am up today.
Genre
At first it was the default Trance music but a bit minimal music like.
Then I made a mix of Trance and PsyTrance.
At least I call my genre Atmospheric Progressive PsyTrance, because of well-sounding surfaces (atmospheric), provocating ascents (progessive) and some psychedelic sound from the underground with pulsating basslines (PsyTrance).
Workstation
Ruralize with my windows-based Desktop and two huge screens at the cellar is a very nice workstation to work undisturbed.
Being sounded by two monitor boxes and optional two huge boxes is also nice to get some contrast.
Target
Making electro music and having fun the whole time!
If some djs played my tracks it would be a great pleasure for me or if a label wants my tracks to be on their cd.
Actually it's not my target to make money with it, because I'm studiing computer science and want to work in that branch so I don't depend on it.
