About Me

my name is amy. nursing school is hard. it's hard to pass and it's hard to keep your friends all throughout the program. but it's my LIFE right now and i still love it. other than nursing though i work at san antonio hospital in upland and i love to do all kinds of other things with my wonderful friends whenever i actually have time. i'm very happy with my life. i pretty much love it actually. i think everything happens for a reason and i'm sure glad it happens that way. some other tidbits about me: i put ketchup on almost everything, i am a seriously messy eater, when i burp it sounds like a hiccup, i hate to sing on cue, i talk in funny accents when i'm hyper, i'm definitely not a morning person, i love my kitty and my roommates and my family and my friends. i'm just ME :D

My Interests

SNOWBOARDING, surfing, wakeboarding, movies, beach, snow, indoor rainy days, late nights with good friends, sleeping in, cooking, living and learning about life

Music:

i mostly like rock, such as the stuff they play on KROQ or X103.9 but i also like some of the mainstream pop stuff and some country.

Movies:

good ones. god knows i LOVE movies. i only used to work at the movie theatre AND blockbuster. what do you expect?

Television:

Friends is my all time favorite show in the world. i have the entire seris on dvd. gotta love grey's anatomy and house. i also really like one tree hill, the hills, the oc, and laguna beach. me and my roommate also love to watch sex and the city every night. and of course summer is all about big brother!

Books:

these days i mainly read school books since thats all i have time for but i think nora roberts and nicholas sparks are probably my favorite authors at this time. oh and me and my roommates always enjoy kicking back in the living room and reading cosmos together.

Heroes:

my dad...my inspiration...my mom ... superwoman. oh and lance armstrong, that guy is awesome! cancer survivor winning *SEVEN* tour de france's? is that possible??

its so sad to lose a life so young. i worked with monica at edwards theatres a year or so ago. she went to bonita high school and just graduated this year. about a week ago she went into the hospital ...

so sad...

so i just found out right now that my ex-boyfriend, who is also my older brothers best friend, commited suicide last night. god, it sounds so weird to say that. i am in such a state of shock right now...

GREENDAY ROCKS!!!

oh man! went to the Greenday concert tonight and it freakin rocked! best concert i've ever been to! if you ever get the opportunity to see Greenday in concert take advantage of it, you wont regret it!
