In 1969 during the Apollo 11 Moon Landing (you know- the "one small step for man" footage) while being broadcast live on television across Europe, the BBC hired then boldly inovative and wildly unconventional "The PINK FLOYD" to play a simultanious, live, on-air improvisational "jam" to accompany the never before seen images streaming directly from the Earth's Moon!
and these days they won't even risk a live performance of the National Anthem at a freakin Football game.

the BBC broadcast was entitled "what if it's made of green cheese", and the jam, "Moonhead". it is also called "Trip on the Moon". pretty intersting stuff - check it out:
