I'm a Pit Bull who was dirty, in heat and running free in the streets of South Tampa. I picked the PERFECT PERSON'S car to run in front of. She almost hit me, but I thank my lucky stars she is an EXPERT DRIVER!! :) My new owner looked scared of me when she first saw me, but I did everything I could to make sure she liked me. I even batted my eyes a bit!! THANK GOODNESS SHE WASN'T AFRAID TO RESCUE ME...I WAS HUNGRY!! My new owner is very into good hygiene and she washed me in wonderful smelling shampoo and clipped my long nails. I HAD NEVER FELT SO GREAT!! She took me to the vet for my shots & micro-chip and booked an appointment to have me fixed. I had previously had a large litter of puppies and I didn't want to go through that again so I was happy to be fixed. I'm now living the high life in South Tampa with my owner and my 2 new sisters, Harley, a 25 pound, 11-year-old gray, tabby cat that I'm very afraid of, and Bliss, a 4-year-old pre-madonna cat which I like to call the "Rebel DIVA." My BFF is a Jack Russel Terrier named Halen and I love him. MY OWNER LOVES ANIMALS AND ART AND HOPES YOU DO TO!!I'm a pit bull resuce success story who has started a huge trend in hand-painted pet portraits!! An accomplished artist decided to paint a water color portrait of me from a picture that my owner took last Christmas. Hince the name of the painting is "Christmas Martini." I have many doggy, kitty, horsey and birdy friends who have been painted by this same artist. If you are interested in having your best friend painted by an amazing artist, please email me.
