I'm a University of Washington student with majors in biochemistry and molecular/cellular/developmental biology, and minors in history, music, and chemistry. I spend far too much time on the internet and not nearly enough time on my school work to be a very good student. I guess I'm just the Jack of All Trades and Master of None.
I really dislike religion when it gives people an excuse to tread on other peoples' rights and oppress each other in the name of an irrational, illogical, and tyrannical God. The three things that do piss me off more than that are America's obsession with materialism, the war in Iraq, and ELF/ALF fire-bombers. People are too greedy, violent, and uninformed for their own good sometimes.
I recently became a vegan, mainly for health and environmental reasons. Though seeing a crab get boiled alive certainly reinforced my decision from an animal rights point of view...
Other than that, I love cute, cuddly baby animals (especially bear cubs!), vegan pizza, WoW, and Richard Dawkins. But nothing compares to the love of my life; nothing makes life as beautiful or worth living for as the love between two people.
