Jamandilo

...Jamandilo has been searching for realisation of his aspirations and dreams by collecting inspirations in the creative field always related to music, art and design...Starting his 1st steps towards music world as a guitar player, he'd quickly gain a cool reputation as well massive respect on music scene appearing in a few bands and projects for several years in Rio de Janeiro (Brasil). Since then influenced by the ones like Jimi Hendrix, Zappa, Eddie Hazel(Funkadelic),just to name a few, and later was just a natural flow for him when he took a new path joining the electronic scene, starting to produce with various audio software. Simply dragged into a new atmosphere, he'd realize that some of his favourite influences (70/80's funk/90's dub Underground worldwide scene) could be found in most of the modern genres he has been listening to........Together with DJ/Producer Jonas Rocha, they branded a new project around 1999 called "Superágua". They dropped into a chilled style mixed up with Jazz, Funk and Dub, a bit of Electro and House, getting almost instant feedback from specialized music press and producers and also listeners and lovers of electronic music, as result: - a few good fun gigs around Brasil - some of the tracks got remixed, released and licensed by top people from the electronic music scene, such as Asad Rizvi (Superágua -REMIX for REVERBERATION RECORDS-2001/UK). - Release of tracks through compilations in France, Portugal, UK - Invention of soundtracks for Media and Advertising companies, fashion brands etc.....It was 2005 when Jamandilo made more new friends and they started to develope a new project, related to rock. In October/2007, was the time to move to Ibiza. Since then, Jamandilo has been working in the studio on this specific project as well few others such as Ipanema Sunset Project , releasing tracks thru some niice colllections as such the El Ayoun 2008 Compilation: "Give Me" (alongside his friend and producer David Villefort) and working in "4DecKz2FreakZ", a new project mixing Dj shooting and Live Set (but without using any software , just decks and CD players) together with his friend Tierno AKA J_PRVRT......also collaborating with new friends like Andy Seidler, who owns SunSoundz-Ibiza ( a record label which releases tracks that go towards a mix between electronic and Ethnic music) and djing occasionally some gigs @ Sonica Radio as well playing as guest Dj in some private parties in Ibiza , and other cool places around the island such as Café del Mar, KM5, El Ayoun, Blue Marlin, Parawdiso Restaurant and BombaayLounge besides he's producing his new tracks, without boundaries and very open regarding genres. His music can sound at the same time abstract as well fresh & sexy.... in his own words: ".....there are no limits to creativity when you're open to receive good messages and good tips from the Universe....."
