Fork Tailed Devils started up in November of 2008 after the break up of Viva La Chieva with Dave and Deano searching for a guitarist, after going through alot of them one day Dave was talking with a friend named Eddie and he knew Sean (the duck Mallard) he had just quit the Smut Peddlers after going through a bunch of drama. Dave called Sean and they started practicing together and it was like a missing piece of the puzzle that Dave and Deano were seaching for, then one day while practicing at the Bomb Shelter Rehersal Studios after going through countless failed singing auditons at about the end of the session while taking a break Sean was talking with a talll tattooed dude outside and he said he was up to trying out for the task of fronting the band, it only took one song and the position was filled Mr. Paul Brashier formerly of The Chiefs was the new frontman for the band. Then one night out while watching Sean play guitar for Naughty Monkey at Fitzgeralds we met Pat Hall (PMFH) formerly of Bone Crusher after talking for a while and digging his attitude towards the band and members we all got together and jammed at Seans house on the couch teaching all the songs to the guys getting it tight and sound, we all started practicing every sunday and had to come up with a new name for this band one day at practice Sean said I have it we will call ourselves Fork Tailed Devils! we all liked it right off the bat, it was a good name with a history behind it the enemy would call the Locheed p-38 twin tailed plane that as it was getting ready to level thier town because when it flew over they knew it would destroy everything in it's path just like we do as a band destroying and concoring our missions on stage as planed, be on the look out for us because we are one solid band from Orange County, Huntington Beach.
