About Me

............. I like music. I like to sing though I am not as good as I was when I was younger. I like to act and I like to watch movies and plays. Mostly comedies, but there’s not much you can’t talk me into seeing. I guess my favorite movie of all time is The Princess Bride. Really it is a good movie. I recommend you go find it right now and buy it because you will like it if you have not seen it. Ok… rent it first; I don’t want tons of messages demanding I pay you back because your taste in entertainment is sub-par! :: I have two wonderfully bright and awesome children and a beautiful, amazing wife. My oldest son, 6 years old, shows a talent for painting/drawing. I suck at drawing. Pretty much stick figures for me. But he can’t play guitar, so I guess I got that over him! So THERE! My youngest son shows a talent for laughing, playing, drooling… come on… he’s only 18 months old! My wife is an awesome singer. She downplays it but she is possibly the best singer I have ever known. And she is very talented at computer stuff. She does playbills for a Nashville acting company and she does our Troll website (www.royalflushtrolls.com). I know like how to send emails… how to open the games on the computer… how to type stuff in the fields on Myplace (I mean myspace)… how to google… a few emoticons and how to type messages on the Predators Message boards. :: I like RPG’s though the pressures of daily life have meant I have to satisfy my RPG crave with play by post and since I only have access to one type of RPG game, I play AD&D 2nd edition here: www.roleplayinggames.net. :: Speaking of the Trolls… Since about 1997 I have been acting Ren faires sword fighting and choreographing sword fights for living chess matches. This lead to the creation of a character named Charlie who is the Prince of Trolls. Eventually his whole family was developed (based loosely on the current Royal Family of England). We are for hire of course. We also perform as pirates, though we are a bit unorthodox in that realm. I can’t explain it here, you have to see it live. Let me put it this way: my pirate character has a cousin named Vinnie. :: I am also a born again follower of Christ. If you want to call me either a Christian or a “Christ follower”… whatever. I have accepted Christ as my personal Savior and try daily to follow His teachings. That’s all I’ll say here because it should be enough… maybe I’ll blog some more on this topic later. If you are curious to hear/know more, just ask. :: I am a dog person… cats are the devil (no… not really! Ha ha! But they really are). And I like to make people laugh. :: I am a huge hockey fan. But have only been so since about 2001. My first game was a Red Wings game at Nashville. I won some tickets from my company. I can truly say that from that point I became more interested in the game and in the team. I wasn’t “bit” until the Preds traded Mike Dunham. I don’t know what it was, but I’ve been an avid follower ever since. :: I think this is about all I can put in a “short” blurb about me (583 words so far). Email me or comment below. I signed on to MySpace to try and get caught up on old friends and new. You know where you fit in that spectrum! - Mike

Your result for The Hockey Role Test...

The Playmaking Center

You're conservative, cerebral, and a good friend. On a hockey team, you'd be the Playmaking Center, the architecht of the offense. Capable of distributing passes to your linemates through the thickest of traffic, the opposing team always has to be wary of your crafty puck-moving ways.

Nicklas Backstrom is a prime example of a young playmaking center.
