From sunny Bradford & originally an illustrator & painter Victor Wilford began his music journey in a post-punk band called 'The Passmore Sisters' in the mid eighties.The 'Sisters' had a reasonable amount of success gigging in & around Bradford & it was with The Passmore Sisters that Vic first put pen to paper & began songwriting.This seemed to be a natural progression from the poetry he had always written from an early age as a creative writer.
After studying art for many years & achieving his BA HONS & MASTERS Vic found himself drawn back to the spoken word & music.Money had always been tight but after being knocked down in a hit & run accident Vic was later able to buy the equipment needed to set up STRUCK NORTH PRODUCTION STUDIOS with the compensation from his injuries.
Vic then began to write & collaborate with other writers,producers,musicians,artists & poets & the scene was set to go to work seriously with the intentions of making a go of the dreams not only he had but also those of his son 1st BORN PRODUCTIONS (a prolific 4x4 Bassline/R & B/Grime/Electro/Dubstep producer,DJ,Rapper,Singer-Songwriter)Aka Reuben Wilford.Currently SONY,UNIVERSAL RECORDS,THE WIDE BOYS & CIRCULAR MOVEMENTS MANAGEMENT are all showing a keen interest in him-watch out in 2009 he's going to be big, & keep a look out for his mix tape in the New Year which goes National & International.
It has to be said that Vic is predominantly a singer-songwriter/poet & this site is the embryonic beginnings of him starting to produce music which only started in 2007 but he can only grow & mature as he has in other areas-so let the music play-PEACE!!!!
