Franky Bangaz is the son of a new Dallas, a breath of fresh air bringing the skills of the old school with the sounds of the new school together for a refreshing take on what Dallas music can be. Drawing inspiration all the way from Rain Dances to Lap Dances, the music created by Mr. Bangaz truly is for everyone.
Born on December 20, 1984 to teenage parents Franky Bangaz was destined for nothing, not a damn thing. Spending half of his younger years in the infamous "Greedy Grove" up unitl the age of 14, Franky relocated to the city of Carrollton, the home of pampered blondes and manicured lawns.
Though the "burbs" were a far cry from the warm and cozy comforts of the Grove, they did introduce Franky to the soothing sounds of Alternative Rock. Selling his parents X-rated films to classmates to scrape up pocket change in the 7th grade, a barter for smut would forever alter Franky's musical tastes.
Trading a VHS copy of "Angels with Dirty Faces" for Korn's "Life is Peachy" was the begining. Rage Against the Machine was next, followed by Marilyn Manson and more. Shredding guitars and heavy drums paired with violent and seductive vocals changed what a mexican kid from the hood could listen to.
Years of drama, seclusion, abused porno magazines, and good weed all help cultivate each track Mr. Bangaz puts together. Looking to be one of the forefathers of the new Dallas music scene Franky Bangaz puts blood, sweat, and tears into his music and performances, and if you've ever witnessed Franky perform live you know this boy bangz...hard.
