Tyken is Fredrik "Dj Nibc" Nyberg and Carl Ryden. The duo name 'Tyken' is taken from a swedish west coast slang phrase meaning cheeky, nasty or cocky. Though the boys are harmless, the forthcoming plans for their upfront housemusic project is to say the least, Tyken!
Carl is based in London where he writes and produces for many artists. With previous
clients including David Guetta, Todd Terry, Eddie Thoneick, Chris Lake, Chanel and Kenny
Dope, Carl has been the man behind the music for so many chart-topping artists of late.
With a chart placing under his belt with the success of Bootyluv, Carl continues to write
for them and is currently working on their second album.
Fredrik is based in Berlin where he runs Tyken’s home label, Trunkfunk Records. With a
number of club successes with his various guises, such as Stuffa and Dj Nibc, Fredrik also
finds the time to dj all over the world and run a successful club night in Sweden called
‘The Eye’. He has won several awards for his skills behind the decks and has headlined
shows together with acts like Carl Craig, Justice, Switch, Dj Assault, Axwell, Chromeo,
Radioslave, Robyn, Sinden, Busy P and Wiley to name a few.
