The DESIGNERS:
I am incapable of producing a list in its entirety of all the designers that I love and have influenced me in one way or another. The following is a list of current and older industry geniuses that I admire.
Balenciaga!!! director: Nicolas Ghesquiere. I freaking adore everything this guy does.
Marc Jacobs. He's just so cool. He's gets a reputation for going against the fashion grain and therefore acquires a loyal following of hipsters and trendsetters. He's the head designer over Marc by Marc Jacobs, Marc Jacobs, and Louis Vuitton.
Proenza Schouler; two cute boys creating clothes beyond their years
Christian Dior: his couture shows are phenomenal and breathtaking.Easily recognizable, the make-up is outrageous and... let's not kid ourselves, a drag-queen's wet dream.
John Galliano, the mastermind behind all the Dior creations, excels at his craft, consistently using the theatrics of runways to showcase and highlight his clothes. His Spring Menswear 2006 collection brought tears to my eyes.
Lanvin, somber luxury with opulent fabrics, embellishments, and terrific silhouettes.

...eh, this is a perfect time to mention that I have an affinity for any movie made by Guillermo del Toro and Alfonso and Carlos Cuaron. They are the greatest.
Tv is good. I accept my addiction and I welcome it. At one point or another I enjoyed:
The Office, Arrested Development, America's Next Top Model, Project Runway, Smallville, Heroes, Family Guy, sex and the City, Six Feet Under, Strangers with Candy, Queer as Folk, The L Word, Dead Like me (Showtime should kill itself for cancelling this show), Desperate Housewives, Sailor Moon, Nip/Tuck, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Starved (brilliant show but cancelled)
To Kill a Mocking bird, The Giver, 1984, Fahrenheit 451, Great Expectations, Ethan Frome, Invisible Monster, Survivor, Choke, anything Chuck Palahniuk, Angus Thongs and Full Front Snogging And of course, my good ol' Harry Potter.
