About Me

I'm Sophie alias Miss Duckin' and I'm a french electronic music performer and producer. I released some track on "Black Montanas" (USA), "Helvet Underground" (Geneva/Switzerland), "Black Leather Records" (Bogota/Colombia) (Beatport, Juno, Itunes...), and done many remix since 2006 (Laurent Garnier, Nine Inche Nails, Laibach, Equitant...). I signed on ELECTROBOOKING by the side of Jack De Marseille, Adam X, Suburbass... I'm now touring in Europe and have a lot of fun :-)

"Alors que « Wäkshing machine » (véritable tuerie de métal-pop-indus qui nous remplacerait volontiers une addiction aux vitamines les plus efficaces) de Wäks sortait il y a peine six mois, Soph’, voix lead du groupe, nous revient avec son projet solo sous le nom de Miss Duckin’.

Après une dizaine de remixes depuis 2006, allant de Laurent Garnier à Nine Inch Nails, et quelques morceaux éparpillés sur des compiles (dont une incontournable reprise de “Laibach” sur la compilaion “Tribute to Mute Records” chez D-Monic Rec), elle sort depuis Novembre 2008 de nombreux EP sur des labels comme BLACK MONTANAS (USA), BLACK LEATHER (COL), HELVET UNDERGROUND (CH), et en vente sur les plateformes numériques (Beatport, Juno, Itunes…).

Ambiances techno-club-trash stroboscopiques, sons claquants et punchy, samples répétés en boucle ou chant à la Miss Kittin, notre cerveau passe littéralement au mixeur. Heureusement qu’il est une tâche impossible que de s’électrocuter avec un mp3 ! Les fans de d’électro survoltée et d’electroclash en marge vont être servis, et ce où qu’ils se trouvent puisqu’une tournée européenne est prévue cet hiver. Une chose est sûre, Miss Duckin’ n’a pas fini de faire parler d’elle…"
