DEPRAVED started out in a drunken haze sometime during 2005 by a couple of guys from the northern parts of Sweden who all shared a passion for the metal of death. Unlike all other bands that starts out under the influence of alcohol, these fellows actually pulled it together and met up for some rehearsals. All went fine and a couple of hits were made, but as things often go, other bands and various random shit got in the way. For one thing, one of the guitarists, Nick, moved out of town. But this couldn't get in their way, so one weekend in the summer of 2008, they all met up in Studio Blastbeat (home of vocalist Mikael and guitarist Stefan's main band My Own Grave) for a session of beer and Death Fucking Metal.
