I find it difficult to decide what to put in this section. I am a bit bummed that I missed out on all the prepared areas for self clarification provided on individual myspace pages. I am an individual. I just chose to sign on as a "band" so that I could post music. In the end, it's okay that there are no specs on the side of my profile, because no explanation of my height, body type, education, income, musical preferences, etc. would really capture the greatness that is Cheryl Watson. And I believe that applies to you and your stats as well.I was born in Philadelphia and raised just north of NYC. I spent 8th grade on Vancouver Island at an international Baha'i boarding school, 12th grade as an exchange student in Germany, the year b/w my 1st and 2nd year of college volunteering in Togo and the Ivory Coast, summers in college in KY, WV, and VA as a construction manager/volunteer coordinator, 3 academic years at a women's college in Massachusetts, junior year on exchange at a historically black women's college in Georgia, 5 months in 2003 in Switzerland and most of my post-college time in North Carolina. I'm interested in a lot of things and chose the very broad college major of American Studies, with a focus on Race & Gender Experience. I speak French and German and have studied Spanish, Russian and Persian. At one point, I lived with three Wisconites and, to this day, still pronounce a few words slightly differently than the average northeasterner.I moved to Savannah in September 2006 to get an MFA in Interior Design. It's a great town to be sure and the program is intense. When it's all over in 2009, I will be so proud of myself.
