About Me
Adam Teixeira is a drummer based in Toronto. Graduated from the Humber College music program in 2006, Adam continued his studies attending the 2008 Banff jazz Workshop led by Dave Douglas. Gaining experience rehearsing and performing in all styles of music, playing both percussion and Drum set. Adam has had opportunities to travel to many places including recent travel throughout Cuba and multiple tours to Seoul Korea and North America.
Performing with many great musicians from all over the world. such as, Greg Osby, Rudresh Manhanthappa, Jangeun Bae, Steve Gadd, Pat Labarbera, Ravi Naimpally, George Koller, Adrian Farrugia, Quinsin Nachoff, Shantanu Bhattacharyya.
Adam has studied/ played with the likes of Johnathan Blake, Changuito, Billy Hart, Clarence Penn, Compania Folklorica, Cutumba ballet folklorico, Dan Weiss, Dave King, Ian Froman, Miguel Zenon, Barry Romberg, Bob McLaren, Yosvanny Terry, Andy Milne, Hugh Marsh,Ted Warren and Mark Kelso and more.
