About Me

************************************************************ *************** Faioso is an R&B artist born in Tacoma, WA. She moved to Hawai'i during her high school years in order to get closer to her polynesian roots. In the Samoan language, a faioso (FAH-ee-OH-soh) is a gift (such as food) that someone brings when they are visiting another village. ************************************************************ *************** Faioso is currently promoting the songs that she has developed recently. She is in the process of collaborating with several local artists. In addition, Faioso is getting involved in the local radio community by training as a DJ at KTUH. ************************************************************ *************** Faioso began improvising songs as a small child, and started developing parts of songs in elementary school. She played piano, sang in church and school choirs, and participated in the school band by playing the trumpet. Faioso started singing publicly in the local Washingtonian community. She also began dancing ballet, hula, and siva. She also participated in school and community plays. Faioso even volunteered as a model at the local mall, but she quickly discovered that was not her passion. ************************************************************ *************** In high school, Faioso was introduced to flowing and underground hip hop culture in her extra-extra-curricular activities. Faioso attended UH:Manoa, where she minored in dance. She currently takes music classes at both the University and Honolulu Community College in order to accelerate her training. Faioso plans to further develop her songwriting and vocal talents in order to start and keep trends in the industry. ************************************************************ *************** Faioso is currently working with others that enjoy new, interesting sounds, as well as incorporating a solid bass line and meaningful, positive lyrics. ************************************************************ ***************

just about everything went right today. extremely busy, but VERY productive. had 2 drive from aiea 2 town 2 ewa beach 2 kapolei 2 makaha back 2 aiea but it was worth it! met up and talked with friends...
