We are not perfect lord But through your love mercy and forgiveness Westrive for perfection We seek to change the ways of our youth We seek forcourage and the wisdom to carry out your plan for our lives We seek focusto stay on a straight and narrow path while in pursuit our purpose We arenot perfect lord But through your love mercy and forgiveness We strivefor perfection We seek patience to deal with ignorance We seek to forgiveour enemy as you forgave us We seek to build a legacy through hard workand faith with your blessing We are not perfect lord But through yourlove mercy and forgiveness We know that we can achieve perfection We seekprotection against the trickery of our enemy We seek careers that will usto proudly allow you to be you first in our lives We seek strength andperseverance to survive in perilous times We are not perfect lord Butthrough your love mercy and forgiveness We strive for perfection Dearlord we know that we are far from perfect and we come to you as sinnersstanding in the need of prayer. We ask that you keep our families and ussafe from the traps of satin. Economically we ask for direction. Not ahand –out lord. So that we each may become economically free from thechains of debts.
